Small Groups

Our Small Groups at Leonia Church are all about growth through relationships. If you are looking for personal growth, community, or a deeper relationship with God, then our small group program is for you! It does not matter where you are on your faith journey. You are welcome to join us.

Our small groups meet weekly over a 12-week sessions. You can join a small group at the beginning of a 12-week session. Some small groups continue over multiple 12-week sessions. Others come together for one session. Most of our small groups are open to everyone and focus on the topic of our current preaching series. Other small groups are organized by affinity (parents, women, etc.) and may study another topic.

Ephesians – Wednesday Evening Small Group

Ephesians – Wednesday Evening Small Group

Leader:            David Wehrle
Day/Time:      Wednesdays @ 7:30 p.m.
Place:               The Wehrles’ Home: 346 Sylvan Avenue, Leonia
Date:                9 sessions beginning June 28

Has it ever dawned on you that nothing has ever dawned on God? He knew before the world began that His people would face hardship, so He gave us His Word. The Book of Ephesians is a survival manual—it equips believers to thrive in a world that hates the message of Jesus Christ. Paul the Apostle writes to encourage believers to live well—we’ve been lifted from the graveyard of sin and called to shout the gospel into the darkened world.

Join Leonia Church this summer as we walk through the powerful words of Paul. We’ll dig into the text of Ephesians verse-by-verse and challenge one another to live out the gospel. If the people of your city, of your school, of your family are going to experience the gospel, it’s going to be through you. Encounter Ephesians, and get swept up into the story of Jesus.
