We grow in our FAITH through worship…
Come worship with us at Leonia United Methodist Church! We worship in the sanctuary at 10 AM. Children of God of all ages are welcome. Come dressed as you would like. (Some of our congregation wear jeans and others come in dresses and hats.) Our service lasts from 60 to 90 minutes and includes prayer, hymns, responsive readings, Scripture readings, a Biblical and relevant sermon, special music from our choir or another instrumental or vocal ensemble, and holy communion.
A Disciples Path is an engaging approach to discipleship from a distinctly Wesleyan perspective. This worship and preaching series will challenge you to take the next step in discipleship and become a more dynamic, engaged followers of Jesus.
Did you know that you can join Leonia Church live in worship even when you aren’t able to get to the church building, and even when you aren’t available on Sunday morning? That’s right! Just visit the Leonia Church Facebook page and click on the “Videos” link in the left-hand column or scroll down.
Sunday morning at Leonia United Methodist Church is a pretty exciting time. It is when the entire congregation, friends, family and visitors get together to worship Jesus and spend time with one another. On any given Sunday morning, several people come together to serve the congregation and make our worship service and other programs happen.
At Leonia Church, we do not have any “volunteers” because in Jesus’ Kingdom, there are no volunteers. At our church, we follow the example of Jesus, our Servant King, who first served us. At Leonia Church, we call the people who serve us on Sunday mornings “Worship Servants.” And, many of us have discovered that the best experience on Sunday morning is serving. Interested?
