Staying connected via ZOOM and WhatsApp.
Here at Leonia United Methodist Church, we have found different ways of staying connected. We accomplished this by using technology that helps and which is very easy to use. The free technology below is available and even if you’re not a tech guru just follow the steps below if you run into trouble feel free to call us at 201 429-9604 or email us at : office@leonia.church

The Two Types of Technology:
1. The first app is called Whatsapp that we started by adding people to the Leonia UMC chat group. The Pastor shares inspirational messages, others share conversations along with encouraging each other.
a. You just need to go to your app store if you use iPhone, or google play for android phones and download Whatsapp.
b. Send an email at office@leonia.church or call the office at 201-429-9604 with your name and what number is associated with your WhatsApp so you can be added to the group
2. The second is Zoom. Zoom is a platform where a group can meet via conference call. We have two Zoom Meeting Groups. If you are not a member of Leonia UMC but would still like to join please email: office@leonia.church along with your name and state you would also like to be part of our meetings.
To create a free Zoom account :
A. Go to https://zoom.us/
B. Then create a user name and a password.
C. When you are at the meeting you can mute your volume unless you wish to say something.
