Julio Arcay has been serving our church since October 1, 2019 as Online Director and Administration. He oversees the church’s webiste, different online platforms of the church, and helps to serve our spanish community through Thursday spanish bible study.

Julio has been married to his wife Isabel for over 25 years and the Lord has blessed them with 4 daughters, two sons and three grandchildren.

Julio graduated from Bible Seminary in 1999 and completed a course in Crisis and Family Counseling in 2016. He is originally from Montgomery County Pennsylvania where he attended church and became a youth director at the age of 18. There, he developed a passion for playing drums and other minor percussion instruments. He relocated to New York City, and then, after his daughter was born, Julio and his family moved to Teaneck, New Jersey. During this time, he and his wife worked with students and Julio developed a podcast for youth. Over the internet, parents along with their teens were able to enjoy Christian music for youth and hear different topics from the panel that affect our youth and their families. He was also a Sunday School teacher,  Board Member, Music Director, and involved in Children’s ministry.

Julio worked on Wall Street for over 15 years. It allowed him to gain experience in the commodities, options and stock exchanges. Most importantly his work allowed Julio to interact with great people. After 2009 Julio became the field director for a community food pantry. He was then given the privilege of working as a property manager and build great relationships with the tenants and with various owners in Bergen, Passaic, and Hudson Counties.

Julio is truly grateful for all the moments in his life whether it be his family, ministry or career. All of these adventures have allowed him to see God’s hand shaping him for this present opportunity. He feels blessed to be given the privilege and opportunity to serve Leonia Church to the best of his ability and with the Lord’s help and wisdom . Please continue to pray for his family as he will for all of yours.
